Tutorial tips Make Windows Xp be Router

if you have 2 network segments, you can use win2000 pros / winxp pros as router for second segment.
condition:
1. minimal has 2 network cards (lan-card / nic).
2. configuration ip address in each network card.
3. configuration ip as default gateway.
example:
- segment a - 192.168.0.0/24
- segment b - 192.168.1.0/24
(/24 the purpose 255.255.255.0 - see information cidr)
- nic a - 192.168.0.1 < be default gateway for segment a
- nic b - 192.168.1.1 < be default gateway for segment b
furthermore configuration ip routing for second segment.

so? you necessary edit registry.
its way:
1. run > regedit.
2. slide down to: hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetservicestcpipparameters
3. change value" ipenablerouter" be 13. enclosing regedit.
4. restart pc.
